Respiratory Protection for Hospital Staff
Respiratory protection is more than choosing a mask. This course helps hospital employees understand respiratory hazards, what different respirators can and cannot do, and how readiness, fit, equipment condition, and changing work conditions affect safe use.
Training designed to carry into the workplace.
Respiratory protection starts with understanding the work and the breathing hazard. Employees need to know why protection is required before they can make good decisions about equipment.
This course explains how respirators work and what their limitations mean. It also separates medical evaluation, fit testing, user seal checks, and equipment-specific preparation so learners understand what each step actually confirms.
Hospital scenarios then put those concepts into practice. Learners work through decisions before entry, during use, when equipment or conditions change, and when a task needs to pause or be handed off.
Across eight modules, the course combines instruction, practice decisions, module checks, and a comprehensive final. A live, course-grounded AI coach is available during instruction and is locked during scored module checks and the final assessment.
Hospital employees assigned to their employer's respiratory protection program, including clinical, transport, Environmental Services, and support-service staff.
